“Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it.”

Leslie Snowdon (she/her)

MA, Registered Psychotherapist (RP)

Leslie is a Registered Psychotherapist and she is excited to walk alongside her clients through their life journey. Although we are the experts of our own lives, she believes in the importance of therapy to guide us through our struggles along the way.

As a mother of four, Leslie has experienced first-hand how important it is to foster conversations that facilitate self-compassion, self-awareness and provide a safe space to explore one’s feelings even at a very young age. Leslie received a Master’s degree in Counselling and Spirituality at Saint Paul University and has experience working with clients experiencing various personal difficulties such as anxiety, depression, grief, body image and intimacy issues.

She has also worked with individuals coping with symptoms of Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, eating disorders, and women navigating motherhood and perimenopause.

Leslie provides a person-centered, integrative approach to therapy based on the unique needs of each individual client, drawing on influence from Psychodynamic, Humanistic and Positive Psychology. Leslie also uses various tools from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She also believes in the importance of a mindfulness based approach to therapy.
